Riding in Richie's memory

Hosted by the NYC Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club for the Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps, this ride is a NYC-permitted parade marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, and remembering all those who served, protected, volunteered, and lost their lives that day.

On 9/11, one of those lost was Richard Allen Pearlman, the youngest first responder to die that day. Richie joined the Forest Hills Ambulance Corps at 14 as a Junior Corps member, excelled as a Dispatcher, and at 18 joined the Senior Corps. He headed to the World Trade Center on foot from his job at a law firm. His employer ordered him back for his own safety, but Richie stayed at the site. A photograph on pages 16–17 of Newsweek's Extra Edition, *America Under Attack*, shows him aiding the injured. He was 18 years old. The ride is named in his honor.

All bikes welcome

Sport bikes, foreign and domestic bikes, trikes, side cars, choppers, home-made bikes — anything that requires a DOT motorcycle license.

Pre-registration benefits

The first 411 registered participants receive a numbered limited-edition challenge coin — 411 is the number of first responders lost at the World Trade Center on 9/11/01

Priority parking and a position at the front of the ride

Registration covers ride entry for driver and passenger, one limited-edition coin, and a bracelet for both driver and passenger

Every pre-registered rider is guaranteed a commemorative coin.
