Why Volunteer?


Joining FHVAC is a rewarding experience that lets you give back to your community while gaining valuable emergency medical skills. Our volunteers come from all walks of life — students, professionals, retirees — united by a desire to help others.


Requirements


  • Must be at least 18 years old (16 with parental consent)
  • Must be able to commit to regular shift schedules
  • Must complete EMT-B certification (we can help you get started)
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must reside in or near Forest Hills, Queens
