Set before the podium was the plaque in loving memory of Richard Allen "Richie" Pearlman, Badge #3754. Richie joined FHVAC at 14 as a Junior Corps member, served as a dispatcher, and on September 11, 2001 went to the World Trade Center, stayed to help the injured, and did not come home. He was 18 years old, the youngest first responder lost that day.

Thank you to everyone who stood with us tonight, and to all who came to remember.

Honor • Remember • Unite.

Our remembrance continues on Saturday, September 19, with the 25th Anniversary 9/11 Memorial "Run for Richie" Motorcycle Parade.
